I was born on the island of Trinidad but grew up in the city of Brooklyn, where I developed an appetite for Visual Arts and an ironic aversion to the city’s pigeons.

I’m Lou-Ann Wattley-Belk, a.k.a. “L.A. Watts.” Despite the California-friendly domain name, I have yet to see the Pacific Coast. I currently provide artistic and graphic support to small businesses, non-profit initiatives, community based organizations and everything in between. My specialties include print design, brochure series, direct-mail, identity and brand design. I’ve worked extensively in the women’s health marketing and political industries. Along with my husband and daughter, affectionately nicknamed “Cheesy Bread,” I now call the D.C. Metro area home. |
