About Lou-Ann was born on the island of Trinidad but grew up in the city of Brooklyn. There she developed an appetite for Visual Arts and an ironic aversion to New York City’s pigeons. With hopes of pursuing her dream and abandoning her fear, she ventured to Philadelphia University’s School of Design + Media to pursue a Graphic Design degree. As they say, the rest is history. Today the lovely world of aesthetics keeps Lou’s mind far away from the feathered fiends of her childhood. Although on occasion a rustle in the wind or the pointed beak of an X-Acto blade jolts her back to memories of yesteryear. The source of her phobia is unknown. Lou now calls the D.C. Metro area home and lives in Alexandria. |
